Is Merino wool + silk itchy?
No! Merino sheep produce the finest, softest, and most adaptable wool anywhere in the world. And ours is the best quality! The added silk makes the fabric even softer. It’s just really super soft.
Will my Merino wool & silk pieces last?
Merino wool & silk is strong, hard wearing, and so practical. Our garments will last and stretch, maintain their shape and in fact grow with your child.
Is your Merino wool organic?
Yes, it’s certified organic! All our wool comes from sheep that have been raised naturally and in a habitat where holistic farming methods are implemented without the use of any synthetic chemicals or pesticides.
Do I need to wash my MINI LILA pieces before the first use?
No! Since our wool is completely untreated and we’re not using any dyestuffs with heavy metals or harmful AZO-dyes, there’s no need to wash them before the first use. They also undergo a strict testing scheme at independent laboratories on an ongoing basis making sure they’re completely safe without washing.
Where are your garments made?
Our garments are all proudly made in Germany, in a tiny village by a small family-owned manufacturer.

How do your sizes run?
The age range in our sizing should be used as a guideline. Babies come in all shapes and sizes and there is no universal sizing to fit all. But luckily, our garments are very stretchy! You will find that for most styles your pieces will last longer than the size range indicated. If you are unsure of what size to get, send us an email! We are always happy to chat with you.
Which garment is the best choice for wearing in warm weather?
All our pieces are made to be worn in warm weather. Even on hot and steamy summer days, the Merino wool & silk mix reliably transports sweat and heat away from the skin. It also provides natural UV-protection (SPF 50) without any chemicals involved. Thus, especially for your newborn, you might want to opt for the long-sleeved version because sunscreen isn’t safe for children less than a year old.
What is the difference between a regular and a crossover onesie?
Crossover onesies come with an opening at the front and two side snaps. They’re a great option for newborns to avoid having to pull over baby's still sensitive head. They also make changing easier in the beginning when you’re still figuring out how to support your baby’s head. The double layer of fabric in the front comes in handy for winter babies as it’s keeping their chest especially warm and cozy.
Our regular onesies feature an envelope style neck opening for easy and gentle changing and two snaps at the bottom to close the onesie. They’re great layering pieces and make perfect gifts being simply THE essential for any baby.

Do you offer discount codes?

May I change or cancel my order after it has already been placed?
We process your order within 48 hours of receiving it. If you have not received confirmation that your order has shipped, you may adjust your order. Please email us at email@example.com.
What is your return policy?
We want you to feel totally comfortable placing your order with us! We accept returns for a refund of the purchase price up to 30 days after you have received the order, as long as items are unworn and in new condition. To begin a return, please check out our return/exchange policy.
Do I receive an invoice for my order?
You’ll receive an order confirmation and receipt via email. We don’t send paper receipts as we are trying to be earth-friendly.

How fast will I receive my order?
Your order will be processed and shipped generally within 5-7 business days. During holiday season or sales, expect a day or two delay. If you need your item sooner, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for an express shipping quote.
How fast will I receive my pre-order?
All Pre-Order sales will be Made-to-Order and will ship within three weeks after placing your order.
Can I track my order?
Yes! You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. If you don't receive one within 7 days, first check your junk mail as these emails sometimes get stuck there. If you still can't find it then do feel free to contact us at email@example.com
How much is domestic shipping?
We offer flat rate shipping within the United States for $6.95 and FREE SHIPPING on orders over $150 when you use code MINILILASHIPS at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide! For orders to Canada, flat rate shipping is $15. For orders outside of the U.S. and Canada, flat rate shipping is $18. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark merchandise as "gift" or "no commercial value". And please be aware that due to the higher costs of shipping internationally, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on international orders.
Will I be responsive for import duty, VAT, or other taxes outside the US?
Yes! We recommend that you familiarize yourself with these before placing your order. Refusing to pay duties on a MINI LILA package will not return the package to us, and no refund will be issued.
Do you gift wrap?
All of our orders are treated as if they’re a gift, wrapped in eco-friendly kraft paper (100% recycled and bio-degradable) with a handwritten card and tied with super cute twine ribbon. You can also include your own message at checkout and have the package sent directly to the receiver. Please make sure we have the correct delivery details.
What if there is a mistake or damage with my order?
This rarely happens, but if it does, rest assured we’ll make it right. Simply send us an email us at firstname.lastname@example.org when you receive your order and we will do our absolute best to tidy everything up immediately.
Who are you?
Hi, we’re Isabell and Leith, two friends who met in New York as mamas-to-be. We quickly discovered that the Merino wool & silk pieces brought to us from Europe were what our children felt most comfortable in - day and night. They stayed cleaner for longer, we didn’t have to spend as much time doing washing, and they could be worn year-round because the fabric keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. It felt like magic!! So, we quickly hatched a plan to bring the world’s finest Merino wool and silk wear stateside!
Our main hope is that our garments are something that you cherish, something that lasts the test of time, and will be handed down through your family. For this reason, MINI LILA stays away from trends, keeping the focus on styles that are classic and seasonless.
